Booking Policy

• Cleaning services can be booked through our website, phone, email, or social media.
• A booking is considered confirmed once the Client receives a confirmation message from our team.
• Some services may require a deposit to secure the appointment, especially for deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, after-party cleaning, or large projects.
• Clients must provide accurate details about the property size, condition, and requested services to ensure an accurate quote.

Rescheduling

• Clients may reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning time without any additional charge.
• Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a late change fee.

Cancellation Policy

​

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning appointment.

If cancellation occurs:

More than 24 hours before the appointment:
• No cancellation fee will be charged.

Less than 24 hours before the appointment:
• Up to 50% of the service fee may be charged.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows:
• The full service fee may be charged.

Access to Property

​

Clients are responsible for ensuring our cleaners have access to the property at the scheduled time.

If our team cannot access the property due to:

• Locked doors
• Incorrect entry instructions
• Pets preventing entry
• Client not present (if required)

the appointment may be considered a late cancellation and may be charged accordingly.

Late Arrival

​

While Pictou Cleaning Co always strives to arrive on time, unexpected circumstances such as weather, equipment or traffic may occasionally cause delays. If this happens, we will notify the Client as soon as possible.

Deposits for Specialty Cleanings

​

Certain services may require a non-refundable deposit, including:

• Spring cleaning
• Move-in / move-out cleaning
• Post-construction cleaning
• After-party cleaning
• Large commercial projects

​

Deposits may be transferable if the appointment is rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
